Considered the “Pulitzer Prize” of B2B publishing, the Neal Awards are the most esteemed honor in the business press, recognizing publications for editorial excellence and honoring their role in reporting on the key issues, trends, developments, and innovations across U.S. business.
Pro Remodeler, a distinguished voice in the remodeling industry, brought home two wins in the categories of Best Subject-Related Package and Best Range of Work by a Single Author.
Pro Remodeler’s multimedia package on mental health in construction, “You Need to Talk About It,” featured in the July/August 2023 issue and digitally in an interactive format, emerged as the winner of the Best Subject-Related Package in its category. This comprehensive exploration, written by Managing Editor Caroline Broderick and brought to life through the design of Robin McCartney and Jazmin Santucci, alongside the technical expertise of web developer William Beeler and video filming and editor oversight by Director of Content Erika Mosse, stood out for its exceptional blend of empathy, expertise, and multimedia storytelling.
Caroline Broderick was also honored with a win for Best Range of Work by a Single Author award. Her insightful and engaging contributions have consistently enriched Pro Remodeler's editorial offerings, demonstrating a breadth of expertise and a dedication to excellence that resonates with readers.
Building Design+Construction, a leading business content platform for architects, engineers, contractors, and building owners/developers, brought home a win for editorial excellence for the 76-page “2023 Multifamily Annual Report” published last October by the editorial team of Dave Barista, John Caulfield, Rob Cassidy, and Quinn Purcell.
Finalist honors were awarded to Pro Builder in the Best Profile (Article) for “Built on Happiness: Meet Pro Builder's 2023 Builder of the Year” in the November/December 2023 Issue and also for their Housing Giants article “Holding Back the Headwinds” that appeared in the May/June 2023 issue.
Pro Builder, Pro Remodeler and Building Design+Construction together received a finalist nod in the New Product category for their co-led Women in Residential+Commercial Construction Conference.
