Fourth-generation CEO Ed Gillette has ushered the family business into a new era of communications excellence. Through his ability to react quickly to changing market conditions and smart growth initiatives, Ed has led the evolution of the 100-year-old company into the three specialty brands it is comprised of today: Scranton Gillette Communications, SGC Horizon and Nimble Thinkers. In addition to his role at Scranton Gillette Companies, Ed was named a 2013 Top Innovator in Business Publishing by Crain’s Media Business, was the recipient of the 2017 McCallister Top Management Fellowship from Northwestern University and serves on the Board of Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism.
Through his expertise, which spans 30 years and covers a variety of roles — financial reporting, process and systems, operations oversight, M&A support, and system integrations — Dave ensures Scranton Gillette Communications’ tactical approaches align with the company’s long-term growth objectives.
Through 20+ years of experience in the media industry, Chris Perrino, Group Director, and Principal at SGC Horizon, has a deep understanding of the intersection between technology and media. Within a constantly evolving landscape, Chris has helped pioneer new ways of delivering diverse content to diverse audiences and has a passion for innovation and bringing big ideas to life with long run implications.
In his previous role, Chris was the Vice President of Operations at Meredith, where he oversaw the day-to-day operations of 17 local broadcast television stations across the country. As part of that role, he was responsible for the group’s growth, strategy, and ongoing product development. Chris is a graduate of Carthage College, with a BA in Business Marketing.
Tony is an enthusiastic, innovative industry leader in the construction industry. His 30 year career has spanned senior leadership roles in leading national publishers including Reed Construction Media and McGraw-Hill Companies. Tony works closely with clients across the construction industry to create new ideas that drive brand and product awareness across all media platforms. He is committed to exploring customized, impactful campaigns that work in today’s market.
