Arlington Heights, IL (September 24, 2014) — The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) has officially announced that SGC Horizon’s Professional Builder and Custom Builder magazines are the new media partners for The New American Home (TNAH), beginning with the 2016 show home at the International Builders’ Show in Las Vegas and continuing in Orlando in 2017 and 2018.
TNAH is one of the association’s most successful, most visible programs, and is produced and presented by the NAHB’s Leading Suppliers Council. The 2016 home will be the 33rd edition in a series and is being built in the foothills of Henderson. At 5,050 sq ft, this contemporary, multi-generational “Desert Elegance” home is designed for gracious living and entertaining, and will offer spectacular views of the Las Vegas strip.

Built to the NAHB’s Green Building Standard, TNAH will feature a flexible floor plan that is open, light and spacious, incorporating innovative, low-maintenance materials, healthy home features, cutting-edge energy efficiency, and sustainability.
As part of its growing partnership with the NAHB Leading Suppliers Council (LSC), Professional Builder magazine will present a cover story on TNAH and will sell integrated partnering packages to building product manufacturers aligned with the project. The packages will include print and online coverage and promotion, plus both guided and digital tours that highlight sponsor participation.
