Arlington Heights, IL (February 13, 2015) — The first annual Building Together: Women in Residential Construction Conference will take place at the historic Arizona Biltmore “Jewel of the Desert” resort on September 23-25, 2015.
Founded and hosted by SGC Horizon’s Professional Builder, Professional Remodeler and Custom Builder brands, this one-of-a-kind conference will assemble more than 100 female executives and managers from top firms across residential construction for creative working sessions, educational seminars and networking with peers.
Conference leaders Denise Dersin, editorial director of Professional Builder, and Erika Taylor, content editor for Professional Remodeler, are focused on providing a thought-provoking gathering, populated with keynote and industry speakers, that will tackle important issues and help attendees to set, meet and exceed their goals.
“Women perform critical roles as owners, key executives and managers in the residential construction industry,” says Dersin. “This event provides a new, unique opportunity for women in residential construction to meet in a professional, community-oriented environment and share their challenges and their successes with their peers.”
Networking will be an important component of the conference, as will the new strategies and innovative ideas that attendees will take away at the conference’s conclusion.
