Arlington Heights, IL (October 23, 2013) — Construction Equipment magazine’s Frank Raczon, senior editor, took home a 2013 Robert F. Boger Award in the Blogs category for “Considering Customer Service,” presented at the Construction Writers Association’s 55th anniversary “CONNECTED” annual meeting and Grand Awards Dinner in Chicago on October 22.
Raczon also received an Honorable Mention in the Boger Award Features category for his February 2013 Construction Equipment feature “Outsourcing Decisions,” part of the publication’s Management Challenge series.
Raczon has been a construction industry scribe for more than 25 years. He has the distinction of being the only writer to garner both a journalism award (the Robert F. He also has received awards from the Association of Equipment Manufacturers, the Business Marketing Association, BtoB magazine, and the Quad Cities Advertising Federation.
The Boger Awards are named after CWA founding member and McGraw-Hill publisher Robert F. Boger. Independent communications professionals served as judges, with awards in six journalism categories and eight marketing and communications categories.
