Roads & Bridges Wins Two Editorial Awards
Roads & Bridges was recently honored in two different awards competitions, the Trade Association of Business Publications International (TABPI) and the Construction Media Alliance awards.
The Trade Association of Business Publications International (TABPI) announced the 2018 Tabbie Award winners in its annual competition recognizing excellence in trade, association and business publications.
In the Editor’s Column category, “Keep it out of reach,” a column on the I-85 bridge fire in Atlanta, Georgia, from the June 2018 issue of Roads & Bridges by Editorial Director Bill Wilson, was honored with a Bronze Tabbie Award.
Roads & Bridges' Managing Editor Brian Budzynski’s feature story, “A New Life for the Old Bridge,” was ranked No. 8 on the list of Top 25 Feature Articles.
The 2018 Tabbie Awards featured nearly 400 entries, with nominations coming from the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Australia, New Zealand, the United Arab Emirates and South Africa.
Roads & Bridges was also honored with a 2018 Construction Media Alliance (CMA) Editorial Award for Best Website for its www.RoadsBridges.com website.
Construction Media Alliance is a network of construction industry journalists, public relations professionals, marketers, publishers and social media contributors. The winners were chosen by a panel of industry peers based on criteria set forth by the group’s volunteer-led awards committee.
