Lighting & Decor Magazine Introduces New Digital Magazine Millennial Home
Arlington Heights, IL (March 7, 2017) — Lighting & Decor, the Scranton Gillette Communications’ (SGC) monthly magazine and web resource that delivers trends, news and products to both lighting and home decor professionals, debuted in January 2017, and is now debuting its own launch in April, Millennial Home. This digital-only supplement will focus on exploring and defining what Millennials seek to enhance their homes’ interiors, as well as their preferred shopping and purchasing methods.
In 2017, Millennial Home will be distributed by email in April, August and December to 26,000 retailers and designers. In succeeding years, it will have four seasonal issues, each with a dedicated focus. Millennial Home will explore the latest trends, colors, textures, and patterns in top-performing categories, including wall decor, lighting, area rugs, and accent tables, plus home office, bedroom, dining and living room furnishings. It will be permanently archived on LightingandDecormag.com.
Based on SGC research and reports from Accenture.com, Millennials are expected to be a major purchasing sector by 2020. Their expenditures in the United States alone are projected to grow to $1.4 trillion annually, representing 30 percent of total retail sales.
“We see Millennial Home as an opportunity to help our marketing partners and the retailers and designers who populate our audience to prepare to meet the demand of what is soon going to be the most influential sector of our marketplace,” says Publisher Diane Vojcanin.
“Providing must-have product and trend information will be the objective for the Millennial Home team,” adds Millennial Home and Lighting & Decor Editor-in-Chief Nicole Bowling.
The April issue’s theme will be “Millennial style.” For information on advertising in the 2017 digital issues, contact Vojcanin at [email protected].
