Arlington Heights, IL (March 25, 2016) — The Association of Equipment Management Professionals (AEMP) recently honored 43 industry professionals as members of its inaugural Hall of Fame during its 34th Management Conference & Annual Meeting in Houston.

Among the first members of the AEMP Hall of Fame is Rod Sutton, Construction Equipment’s editorial director, who has led the award-winning editorial team for 15 years. A business journalist for more than 30 years, Sutton received AEMP’s 2009 Richard Hawkins Award for exemplifying dedication, service and contribution to the AEMP mission. He also serves as editor of Equipment Manager, the official magazine of AEMP.

According to AEMP, induction to the Hall of Fame is based on members’ contribution and advancement to the asset management profession. A major percentage of 2016 Hall of Fame inductees are AEMP founders and winners of the Hawkins Award and Member of the Year Awards prior to 2010.

Construction Equipment’s editorial team has had a long and rewarding relationship with AEMP,” says Editorial Director Rod Sutton. “We share the mission of fostering education in asset management. I am honored to be named as an AEMP Hall of Fame member for our efforts.”
